Changes, undo and uninstalling
How every change Whittle makes to your Shopify store is recorded with undo, what happens when you pause or uninstall, and where the privacy policy is.
In short: Every change Whittle makes is listed on the Changes page with an undo button that restores the original. Whittle never changes your store without your approval unless you turn on Autopilot's fill-blanks mode.
The Changes page
- Every search listing, description, alt text, redirect, file name and markup change, with when it was made.
- Undo puts the original back. Compressed photos keep their originals for this reason.
- Large actions, such as a redirect CSV import, undo as one.
Pausing and downgrading
Paid stores can pause for $5 a month to keep rank tracking, alerts and the monthly report running, with everything Whittle changed left in place. On Free, Product FAQs, Shop this post, Autopilot, weekly answer checks, rank tracking and the monthly report stop.
Uninstalling
Turning off the theme app embed removes Whittle's structured data, FAQs and 404 tracking from your storefront. Changes Whittle made to your store's content stay unless you undo them first.
