Whittle docs
Autopilot, languages, AI models and settings
How Whittle's Autopilot writes SEO for new products, how languages work, how to choose an AI model or use your own key, and the Sidekick and MCP connections.
In short: Autopilot writes SEO for new products within minutes and prepares the most valuable fixes every week. You choose whether its fixes wait for your approval or fill in blanks on their own. Settings also covers languages, your AI model, Search Console, shop details and reports.
Autopilot
- Wait for approval: fixes appear in Fix my store for you to approve.
- Fill blanks: fixes go live on their own where a field is empty. This is the only way Whittle changes your store without asking, and every change still undoes from Changes.
Autopilot is on Pro and up.
Languages
- The app follows your Shopify admin's language, or a language you pick: English, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
- With the optional languages permission, search listings can be scored, edited and translated with AI in every store language.
AI model and your own key
Choose Whittle's fast or best quality, or connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Gemini key. With your own key, AI fixes are unlimited on any plan.
Sidekick and MCP
- Sidekick: Shopify's assistant can read your SEO summary, weakest pages and broken links from Whittle.
- MCP server: connect AI tools to Whittle with a per-store key from Settings, to read and fix with undo.
Shop details and reports
Add shop addresses and hours for local business markup, set shipping and returns for Google, and choose which reports you receive.
