The tracking page

Roadcase adds an order tracking page inside your Shopify theme at /apps/track, with a Didn't get it? button and a link for shipping confirmation emails.

In short: Roadcase adds a tracking page inside your store's theme at yourstore.com/apps/track. Shoppers look up an order with its number and email, or arrive from a Roadcase email, and see the status, expected date, carrier and tracking history, never an address.

Turn it on and add it to your menu

  1. The tracking page is on by default. Turn it off or add a message in Settings.
  2. Add it to your store menu in Shopify: Online Store, Navigation, then add a link to /apps/track.
  3. Copy the link from Settings into Shopify's shipping confirmation email, so shoppers land on your page with the order number filled in.

Your store needs the Online Store sales channel for the tracking page. On the Free plan it shows a small "Tracking by Roadcase" line.

"Didn't get it?"

For 30 days after delivery, shoppers can report that a package marked delivered never arrived. Roadcase opens a "Delivered, not received" claim, emails you (and Slack, if connected) with what the shopper wrote, and drafts the message to the carrier asking where it was scanned delivered. Each package can be reported once.

Extras

  • Show a few of your products under the tracking, tagged utm_source=roadcase so you can see the sales in your reports.
  • Every Roadcase shopper email links to this page.
