Claims and Ask the carrier

Track lost, damaged and delivered-not-received packages in Roadcase, fill in carrier missing package forms in one click, and follow claims until paid.

In short: On Starter and up, the Claims page lists packages that look lost or undeliverable so you can claim them, lets you report damaged packages by order number, and tracks each claim to paid with a recovered total. You file on the carrier's site; Roadcase prepares the details.

Ask the carrier

On any stuck, late, lost or missed package, on the Problems or Claims page, one click copies a filled-in message for the carrier's missing package form and opens that carrier's help page. The message includes the tracking number, service, ship date and ZIP, destination ZIP and state, expected date, last scan, value and order number.

Filing and tracking a claim

  1. Open the package on the Claims page and copy the claim details.
  2. Follow the link to the carrier's claim form and file there.
  3. Update the claim's status as the carrier responds, through to paid. Your recovered total adds up on the page.

Each carrier sets its own deadline for claims, and Roadcase doesn't track those deadlines for you. File soon and check the carrier's rules. Our lost package claims guide links to each carrier's claim page.

Delivered, not received

When a shopper uses "Didn't get it?" on your tracking page, the claim opens here automatically, with their note and a drafted carrier message.
