Send shipping emails from your own address
Connect Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, your own domain or any SMTP provider so Roadcase shipping emails come from your store's address.
In short: On Starter and up, go to Emails, Send from your own email and connect Gmail or Google Workspace, Outlook or Microsoft 365, any address on your own domain, or any provider by SMTP. Shopper emails then go out from you, and replies come straight back to your inbox.
Your options
| Option | How it works | Daily limit |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail or Google Workspace | Sign in with Google. Emails go out from your real mailbox and land in Sent | 400 a day |
| Outlook or Microsoft 365 | Sign in with Microsoft. Emails go out from your real mailbox and land in Sent | 1,000 a day |
| Your own domain | Use any address on your domain by adding 3 DNS records. They don't affect your existing email | Sent through Roadcase's email service |
| Any provider (SMTP) | Zoho, Yahoo, iCloud, Fastmail or your host's mail server. Gmail and Yahoo need an app password for SMTP | 300 a day |
When you connect a Google or Microsoft mailbox, Roadcase asks only for permission to send email and to read your address. It can't read, search or delete your email.
Set the name and reply address
On the same page, set the name shoppers see and the address replies go to. Then use Send me a test to check it.
If a connection breaks
If a mailbox disconnects, for example after a password change, emails wait instead of failing, and you get an email asking you to reconnect.
