Shipping score, carriers, trends and costs
How Roadcase calculates your shipping score, compares carriers, shows shipping trends, finds shipping cost leaks and picks three money-saving moves each month.
In short: Roadcase scores your shipping from 0 to 100, grades each carrier you use, shows weekly trends, and compares what labels cost with what shoppers paid. On Starter and up it also picks the three changes worth the most money each month.
Shipping score
A number from 0 to 100 built from four things over the last 30 days: packages delivered on time, time to ship, orders with a problem, and packages with tracking. It needs at least 5 packages.
Carriers
On-time rate, typical transit days, problem rate and average label cost for every carrier you use, plus your slowest destination states. When three or more Roadcase stores share a carrier, you'll also see an anonymous benchmark.
Trends
Weekly on-time rate, ship time, transit time and problems, and where the days go between order and delivery.
Costs and the leak finder
What Shopify Shipping labels cost against what shoppers paid for shipping, by carrier and service, over 90 days, plus products with no shipping weight. Label costs are only available for labels bought in Shopify Shipping; stores using ShipStation or other tools see shipping charged and their free-shipping share instead. - This month with Roadcase on Home, plus a monthly email: shoppers told first, support time saved, addresses caught, problems caught, claims recovered, and extra order value from the free shipping bar.
