Roadcase vs CWILL Order Tracking (formerly ParcelPanel)

Short answer: Roadcase catches late, stuck and lost packages and emails the shopper from your store before they ask, with seven ready-written problem emails, then adds a claims tracker, a shipping cost leak finder and holiday deadlines, which we didn't find on CWILL's official pages. Its free plan covers 50 orders a month against CWILL's 20, with delivery estimates on every plan. For stores that want fewer "where is my order?" emails and money back on lost packages, we recommend Roadcase; CWILL's strongest case is low-cost routine tracking notifications. ParcelPanel now lists as CWILL Order Tracking.
Disclosure: we make Roadcase, launching soon: it's in Shopify App Store review now, so you can't install it yet. CWILL details come only from its Shopify App Store listing, developer page and pricing pages on cwill.com, checked November 3, 2026; CWILL's help center didn't load for us that day, so anything only found there is marked "Not checked", and "Not stated" means we couldn't find it on an official CWILL page, not that CWILL can't do it.

Roadcase puts claims, the full leak finder, Klaviyo and Shopify Flow on its $19 Starter plan, where CWILL's Klaviyo integration is on Professional at $59. Roadcase plans are flat with no per-order charges: past the limit it keeps watching every order and pauses shopper emails for the extra orders. Paid plans have a 14-day trial and yearly plans cost 10 months. The CWILL listing charges $0.05 for each order over a plan's quota and gives paid plans a 7-day trial; CWILL's own pricing page calls the quota "credits" and says the Free plan stops once its credits run out, so check which applies to you.
When CWILL might fit better
- You want an app installed today with a long record. CWILL launched January 25, 2019, is rated 5.0 from 3,210 reviews (November 3, 2026) and carries the Built for Shopify badge. Roadcase has no reviews yet.
- Lower price at some volumes, or a much bigger store. 200 orders a month cost $11 on Essential against $19 for Roadcase Starter, and 2,000 orders cost $59 on Professional against $99 for Roadcase Growth. Enterprise covers 25,000 orders a month; Roadcase's top plan stops at 5,000.
- Routine notifications, protection, dropshipping or returns. CWILL sends notifications on tracking events, sells shipping protection, has a dropshipping mode and a separate returns app. Roadcase doesn't send routine shipped or delivered updates, SMS, labels or returns: it works alongside Shopify's own shipping notifications and adds the problem emails they don't send.

- Store that files carrier claims or wants to see shipping cost leaks: Roadcase Starter.

What's the best alternative to ParcelPanel?

What happened to ParcelPanel?
The Shopify App Store listing at the ParcelPanel address now shows CWILL Order Tracking by CWILL INC and says it was formerly ParcelPanel and ParcelWILL. Same listing, new name.
Is CWILL Order Tracking free?
There's a free plan for 20 orders a month, and paid plans start at $11 a month for 200 orders. Roadcase's free plan covers 50.
Does Roadcase sell shipping protection?
No. Roadcase helps you file the carrier's own claim and tracks it until it's paid. If you want protection sold at checkout, an app like CWILL that offers it is the better fit.
